Site-Specific Chalkboard


The TipJar Site Specific Chalkboard is a way to make it easier for anyone to use TipJar. Instead of typing in your email address or registered alias every time you pledge a tip, you can register yourself on the chalkboard visible from the domain you use to access the world wide web and then simply choose your name from the drop-down box.

It is also possible to put your nickname/alias into a cookie on your browser, so that no selection whatsoever is required. You may have to do this twice --- once for sites that refer to the tipjar give form as http://www.tipjar.com/cgi-bin/give and once for sites that refer to it simply as http://tipjar.com/cgi-bin/give.
